Our assistive technology (AT) team is made up of two passionate and experienced assistive technology professionals with backgrounds in occupational therapy. Both received their M.S. in Occupational Therapy from Tufts University in Medford, MA, and are certified Assistive Technology Professionals (ATP) through the Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America (RESNA).
This team brings experience, creativity, and passion to Gray Consulting and often collaborates with the AAC team. This team has specialized training in dyslexia, emergent literacy, cortical visual impairment (CVI), alternative access methods (e.g., eye gaze, switch scanning, etc.), device mounting, and seating and positioning for complex bodies. Team members have presented locally, nationally, and internationally on topics including augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), alternative access, and emergent writing.
