Jenna is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist whose passion is working with individuals with complex communication needs. Her interest in communication disorders developed when her younger brother was diagnosed with Autism. After having an opportunity to observe the integral role played by her brother’s SLP in supporting Jenna’s family and enhancing her brother’s communication, Jenna changed her major to Communication Sciences and Disorders and graduated from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst in 2014 with her Bachelors. She continued on to Syracuse University to earn her Master’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2017.
Jenna specializes in working with students with complex learning needs and those who utilize Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). Having worked in settings that focus on the use of AAC and the principles of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), Jenna enjoys collaborating with various specialists and families to provide comprehensive support.
