Melissa is a licensed teacher of students with visual impairments, who has been working in the field since 2015. She has experience working with students from preschool to age 21 and has a special interest in Cortical Visual Impairment (CVI). Most recently, Melissa has been supporting clients with assistive braille technology.
Melissa obtained her B.S. in Elementary Education from Clark Summit University and subsequently earned her M.Ed. in Vision Studies from UMASS Boston in Boston, MA. She is currently licensed to practice in New Hampshire.
When not working, Melissa enjoys playing piano, doing crafts, training, and spending time with her dogs. She also enjoys spending time with her family which consists of her husband Josh, and three foster children.
