What is Assistive Technology and Universal Design for Learning?

Timeframe: 1.5-2 hours

Schools use the terms assistive technology (AT) and universal design for learning (UDL) frequently, but what do they really mean?  How do these play out in a classroom setting?  During this presentation, we will discuss what AT and UDL really mean, and how we can reflect these principles and practices to better meet the needs of our students.  Case studies, interactive discussion and best practices will be discussed.
